This EARLY style seal also is used on IH Farmall and International Super A,  100,  130,  and 140 tractors as the seed plate drive seal when used with metal retainer plate (see item #38) on early models.

Early style model assemblies had a metal retainer bolted to the final drive with this seal inside.  The later newer style seal did not use retainer plate cover.

Please verify retainer plate cover is present before ordering this seal.

Early style seed plate drives are most commonly found on Super A tractors.  Previous owners repairs may have interchanged these final drives with newer models.

Please note: the early style seal arrangement with seal retainer plate can easily be converted to the new late style seal. This is accomplished by simply removing and discarding the retainer plate.  Then insert the new style seal (see above link for this seal) between drive shaft and the final drive housing.
