Referred to in Cole Equipment planter parts catalog as a "seven point change sprocket" and was used to adjust seed spacing distance.

The gear will fit a hex shaft. The hex diameter is 1 5/16" inch point to point.

The total outside diameter is 3 3/16" inch.
