Please note: If to long of a screw is used, it will damage the springs and other internal parts below the breaker plate.

This screw is easily dropped and lost and almost impossible to find especially when doing field repairs.  Often this screw's slot is damaged making removal very difficult.   The last imaged shows this screw's typical condition.  This replacement screw and lock washer will make ignition points replacement much easier.
