This spring is used on BOTH FAST HITCH AND NON FAST HITCH rear cultivator lift rods and restores correct spring loaded down pressure on cultivators for better cultivation.

These springs tend to collapse and loose spring tension over time.  Replacing these springs will help rear cultivator sweeps perform better.  Often the owner will compress the these springs to obtain more downward pressure on the rear cultivators.  This can result in breakage of cultivator parts.

For IH Farmall C,  Super C,  200,  and 230 cultivators the spring is used on the four (4) FRONT pressure rods assemblies.  This lift rod spring is also used in many other models of IH and Farmall cultivators and planters.
