The sickle bar on this type mower is belt driven from the PTO shaft.

Sickle bar mower has a 7' foot cut.

The IH Model 1000 Mower had multiple hitch options.

The mower could be bolted directly to the fixed drawbar, which is the current hitch option on this mower.

This mower was also designed for an IH 2 Point Fast Hitch Drawbar to be bolted to the mower frame.  This would allow the sickle bar mower to mount to a 2 Point Fast Hitch equipped tractor.
