This brake band fork toggle is used on both LEFT and RIGHT side brake bands.

Please note, the brake band friction surface becomes hard or glazed with age, or is contaminated with oil and grease increased force on brake pedal is required to achieve the same stopping results.  This often over stresses and breaks the toggle.  Check you brake bands and replace if needed to restore braking performance.
