Service hint: Anytime the tractor is split carefully inspect both engine block rear expansion plugs and replace if any doubt regarding their condition.  These plugs will corrode from the inside out requiring splitting to replace.  This plug especially prone to corrosion if the antifreeze has ever been neglected.
