International McCormick Model 184 Corn - Seed Planter.

The planter has rust pitting as shown. The drive shafts turn freely.

This planter has the cultivator frame mounting bracket.  The frame bracket is used on multi row side mount cultivator frames, commonly used on Farmall H,  M,  Super M,  504,  and other tractor models.  This allows the planter to bolt directly to the front side mount cultivators.  The last photo shows the cultivator frame option.

The IH 184 planter had the cultivator frame attachment, 1 Point Fast Hitch, or rear toolbar attachment as options from the factory.  The cultivator frame attachment can be unbolted and one of the other options can be installed.
